Description:
2026 TLBAA ULTIMATE BULL | 2026 ITLA BULL BONANZA CHAMPION | MULTI-TIME FUTURITY CLASS WINNER | MULTI-TIME HIGH POINT CHAMPION
MIDWEST TOP SHELF lives up to his name with top-shelf quality and top-notch genetics.
Affectionately known as “Scotty,” this exceptional young bull has progressed from a promising prospect to a proven champion, earning recognition across multiple associations and prestigious Longhorn events.
Crowned the 2026 TLBAA Ultimate Bull and 2026 ITLA Bull Bonanza Champion, Scotty has also earned multiple Futurity Class Championships, High Point Championships, and Head-to-Head victories. After finishing eighth in the 2025 NLFR Futurity Race during his first year of competition, he has continued making his mark in 2026, currently standing second in the NLFR National Points Race.
With the 2026 show and points season still underway, Scotty continues to add to an already impressive record.
Scotty offers far more than an impressive show record.
Long, tall, and exceptionally tight, he combines structural correctness, athleticism, and eye-catching presence with striking color. His strong feet and legs, exceptional hip, and balanced conformation reflect the qualities we value in a breeding bull.
His pedigree is equally impressive.
Scotty is on track to have three 100-inch sires across the top side of his pedigree, combining powerful horn-producing genetics. His maternal side is just as notable, led by Nitro Woman SS, a Dam of Excellence Award recipient measuring more than 100 inches of total horn, and the legendary Illini Brown Betty, a nearly 100-inch super producer known for her beautiful twist and maternal influence.
Beyond his pedigree and accomplishments, Scotty has demonstrated the reproductive qualities we value in a herd sire, including strong post-thaw semen results. He is not only built right; he is showing the reproductive potential to support his credentials.
His horn set further reinforces his value. Scotty is bred for twist, style, and elite horn direction, supported by the structural foundation and genetic depth to offer far more than horn length alone.
Perhaps his greatest quality cannot be measured with a tape or earned in a show ring. Scotty’s exceptionally gentle disposition and larger-than-life personality have made him a favorite among breeders, competitors, and visitors of all ages. He is as comfortable lowering his head for a scratch as he is stepping into the spotlight.
